This policy states the following guidelines for all students:

Students are required to be present regularly, except in cases of illness, injury, death in the immediate family or religious observance.  A note from the parent or guardian is needed for a students’ absence to be excused.  Written notification of the students’ absence must be delivered to the front office within 24 hours of returning to school.

Students with absences exceeding (9) days in a semester or (19) in a school year will receive an “F” for the course.  Absences are counted for both excused and unexcused days.
